Default SX3 to KF diff

I thought I could use an sx3 ball diff with kf pully and fences in my kf. I had an almost new diff that I thought would be good to use in the kf.

Just tried to swap to the new pully and the hole in the middle is bigger than the sx3 pully. Has anyone tried this and come across the same problem.

Thanks.

I thought the SX3 or K1 diff would fit in the KF with the pully and side plates. Looking at the manuals for the SX3 and K1, they both use the same size bearing 5x10x3 and that is too small for the KF pully.

Is there a difference with the K1 and KF ball diff ?

Thanks

Sx3 diff dropped straight into my kf using the kf bearings just used an extra shim on the on side.

Hope that helps

As cakes said. there has been a handful of us running sx3 diffs in the KF ( extra shim ) successfully for a few months now.

Chaps, your missing what the poster is asking, are the pulley (plastic moulding) compatible with the SX3/KF, not the complete diff.
