Depends on how much of an upgrade it is. Might just be a worlds spec or a B44.3. Trouble is its not like the B44.2 has been outclassed in results, Craggy still showing the way home in the UK, Hartson won the Worlds. Car is still up there in speed. That said, I do like the new plastics and construction of the B5

OT a bit but I think the B5M was too little too late, should have done a front motor car for the rest of the world outside USA.

The car the top racers are using now is based on the Schelle chassis, with conversion to durango gear diffs. I've also heard that Neil runs a shorter chassis than the B44.2, but not as short as the B44.1.

My view is that they will re-engineer the car to allow for quick and easy diff changes and access to the drive train, run a shorter chassis than the 44.2, maybe go metric, and have proper 12mm hexes all round. I suspect there will be a shorty conversion feature also?

B45? or B54? :-)

Maifield is apparently going to losi
he wasnt happy with the performance on the new 8th buggy and got told off for going back to his old car that worked.

his move has been coming for some time though as it was mid last year he started dumping his electrics, speedo and engine attachments to reedy/associated.

it was around 2 months ago that Orion mentioned they were signing a mystery super star.
and thats just been announced as Ryan M
