Someone said there was a 'trick' to getting a higher quality video, anyone remember what it was?

The trick is to click on "watch in high quality" just below any video that is available in high quality, e.g. this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atmaXuVN9QA
you will see a difference in audio and video. |

if you stick that code on the end of every normal video it gives you a better quality regardless of whether it says hq or not.

I believe they re-encode all videos to higher quality, (MP4) and have a standard one (FLV ?) may take a few days for the high res to appear.
you can use something like http://keepvid.com/ to download and pick the better quality. (but google are still fiddling with the settings and keep adjusting) |
