Default Hi! New here!

Hey guys,

I don't know if this is where introductions are supposed to happen but here I am!!! I am an american, I moved to Suffolk for work. Been doing the RC thing since I was about 14 when I got an Associated RC10T4 stadium truck kit. Started out with NiMh and a brushed 19 turn modified (later a 13X1). Got out of the hobby for a bit after I blew my second ESC and didnt have money as a kid. Got back in recently when I bought an RTR drift car, and MST MS-01D. Drifting is super fun and all the cool replica bodies you make are fun, its all about scale realism.

I'm thinking of getting rid of the RC10T4 and getting a Schumacher buggy chassis (since stadium trucks aren't really a done thing any more), not sure if I want 2wd or 4wd yet. I haven't seen the British off road racing scene and I don't know what people run these days... If you guys could fill me in on the British off road racing scene and let me know what kind of tracks are near Newmarket, that would be awesome!

Thanks in advance!!

Hi mate

Welcome along !

Come down to Coastal , we are racing today so you can take a look at our set up, off road astro track , Tarmac TC/minis track , lots of great facilities and it's free to watch !!

We are situated near the ski slope on the Wherstead side of Ipswich , directions are on our home page on oOples list of clubs

About an hour from Newmarket , it's the last junction on the A14 before you go over the Orwell bridge
