Default Stick Handset

Currently use a Core RC handset, i fancy something a bit better but not sure what?? Don't really want to spend the Sanwa kinda money so SUB £300. HELP, Ideas please.

Lookon here or ebay for a ko universe 3 with spectrum conversion can be picked up for as little as £100, ive had one for a year and its ace.

But out of stock. you are locked into the sanwa receivers however, which aren't cheap if you have a few cars.


Another options is picking up a used KO Esprit 2 or Esprit 3 Universe 40mHz set and converting it to 2.4GHz with the FrSky hack module. Receivers are £13 each then, hack module ~£20.

KO do have a new one coming, but it won't be budget price.

I've owned a Uni 3 for years now and love it... I did buy a Exzes Z but couldn't get on with it.. looked a bit cheap in my eyes, even though it really wasnt!!!

Might know where there is a mint UNi3 for sale too

due to binding issues with my KO, had to change about 12 months ago (as no alternative but to go Sanwa) and still not really comfortable, despite fiddling around with stick length, angles, etc.

even considering biting the bullet and going steerwheel!

Same same I ended up with a DX4s and actually happy with it but would love a new KO stick set even though I'm expecting a £500 starter price,

I had a futaba ff3 for 20+ years and still love them to bits had loads of problems with spektrum and frsky modules so ended up with a gemini x awsome bit of kit and no problems rx are a little pricey but never had any problems
