Personally I used to use Mardave VSR and VSF's (Meteor/Cobra tyres)
on my Optima Mid for longer grass.
They tend to be a good length on the spike and are soft to give decent bite,
not sure if you can still get 'em though,so maybe Schumacher spikes would
give you something along the same lines.

On short/worn grass,Schumacher mini-pins were always favorites.

Just start with your dry and wet astro set ups and tyres and see how it goes. On very worn grass (dirt/dust) then good luck! Could try Schumacher silver compounds or USA type dirt tyres like hole shots etc

will just add that rear wear rate is quite high on grass and worn tyres don't work very well

On long grass where you only contact the grass and don't bite down to the ground Shumacher full spikes (blue) are excellent

On worn out grass tracks, DBoots Multibites work very well & last a decent time to.
