Just want to make it official here in our little corner of this world: Welcome to the Family Phil!!!
We wanted one more A main driver on the X Team, and thought of going after several different names. But Phil was the top of that list right from the start, and we got lucky, very lucky. In fact, we had decided that if Sleigh Bells turned us down, we would stand pat.
These things are crazy, as top drivers consider the deals being thrown their way after the season, and I know Phil had several options, so we're indeed honored and fortunate.
