Default emb1 carisma motor

Just wondering if anyone knows if the carisma team spec motor is same size as the emb stock motor ? As in shaft size and diameter ?

well I know the carisma is a 24mm can with a 2mm shaft, and im fairly sure the emb is a 28mm can with a 3.2mm(1\8") shaft, someone else may be able to confirm this

That sounds familiar, i know the EMB motor wont fit in a GTB as it is a bigger can, and i have a feeling the pinions dont fit either because of the shaft.

One of our club guys also burnt out his carisma motor in an EMB, think it didnt have the torque for the car.

That's spot on the emb motor is a 28mm can size with 3.2mm shaft, it is a shame it won't fit in the gtb because it is a cracking 4 pole motor although if you want 4 pole in the gtb I would look at http://www.smartteknik.se/uk/brushle...v-4-polig.html

I use the 2838 5200kv in my emb and it is a cracking motor that I would say is better than stock emb motor.
