Hi all,
I've been looking at the Tekin FXR Pro, any good? It's not for crawling, normal brushed only racing using only NIMH cells Cheers |

I liked the LRP QC3, small, smooth power band and easy to setup

I havent used brushed for a while and I wouldnt imagine that r/c companies have invested much time in it since brushless became widely used, so I would say LRP Quantum Competion and Nosram Dominator Power would still be pretty good.
I'd imagine you could pick up a previously top end speedo pretty cheap now. Or you could alternatively go for something new that can do both (but the price does go up) Added: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LRP-Quantu...item3cdca2ad02 Depending on how much your willing to pay you could put in an offer for something like this LRP QC3 new on ebay. |

Second hand market is going to give you the most choice, unfortunately they are getting harder to find for the few of us that still race with brushed motors. I assume you are running a Mini, my car has a Keyence Rapida Pro which is a superb ESC if you can find one and extremely well made. The Nosram and LRP Quantums are popular in other racers cars, they were very popular back in the day so plenty around in pitboxes and the QC3 has a LiPo cutoff which is handy.
