Did that get your attention?
Just to get your juices going - here are the results from 5th Feb. Anyone got some ideas for additional track obstacles? ![]() |

I'm not so sure about any more obstacles tbh, gotta be careful not to detract from the racing too much. I did like that new little ramp tho (after the block of wood was taken out), lol.
Just a thought on track layout tho... We have two ramps, why not arrange them as a ramp to ramp fly-over? i.e. Track comes back through the gap under the fly-over?? |

Remind me not to Marshall anywhere near this point. An up and over with cars driving below. Wallets at the ready. lol....

that was a piece of facia (as in the bit near a house roof) I found - does anyone know a builder that could supply us with bits of off cuts?

Personally I like the obstacles.
We can only use carpet now (no more bare wooden floor, as we were causing damage to it) so I think some small obstacles are a good way to give more of an offroad feel to an essentially onroad track. I see them as part of the racing, not a detraction from it and I also think they act as a bit of a 'leveller' between the top and lower drivers. Good idea about the facing ramps, but we may need to add a board between them if we have cars going underneath(?) Not all our drivers have cars with the oomph to clear a 2 metre gap. |

Fair points.
How about a 'ring of fire' too between the ramps? Would you Marshall that Jimbob? |
