Speed Passion ESC HELP!!!

Hi All

Got a second hand Speed Passion Gt Pro 2.0 ESC and have wired it into the car. The speed when holding throttle forward from a 7.5 motor is ridiculously quick. I have a standard program card to try and change settings but only get a dash sign in both windows.....

Got a feeling different software might be on?

I have tried to hold the reset switch for more than 3 seconds as per instructions but nothing happens.

Any help appreciated as the tyres are barely staying on when I accelerate when holding car in the air

Have you set neautrel point.... are you holding the button down then switching on..

Yep, have set neutral point and only trying when the switch has been on for a few seconds so not holding button down when turning on switch.

Tried Neutral point again and has now let me reset ESC - Tried plugging in LCD card and still showing dashes instead of values.

My brother has the same ESC and motor and have compared throttle speed with holding cars and mine is miles quicker......any more ideas welcome :-)

Is the ESC set to Turbo?

DRRS 5+ I seem to remember.

Hope you fix it.

Cheers - Trying to see with the programme card but just get two dashes showing as thought it might be set up with turbo etc but having reset the ESC I thought that might take any turbo etc off.
