Default What electrics for GTB CARISMA

Afternoon

Completely new to micro. Always raced nitro or 1/10.

Reading up and there isn't a main view on what is a good all round esc, motor, servo and lipo to use in the GTB.

Is the standard Carisma motor acceptable or is there better value out there. Not interested in the cheapest but value for money reasonable quality.

Any help will be good.

Thanks in advance

James

Have you got a car etc? I've got a fully hopped up gtb that has only done the Hereford national that I'm contemplating selling.

If you are new to micro you might want to consider the 4500kv carisma motor. I only break out the 5700 for the longer national tracks. At my home club the 4500 actually gets me the quicker fastest lap. From memory the 4500 is half the price of the 5700 as its the stock mass produced motor.
