![]() I have stripped the ball end out of the 3rd hole outwards on the hub after a crash. Shall I buy a new hub or shall I use one of the other holes? If I were to use one of the other holes, inner or outer (with the same camber setting), what affect would this have? Thanks. |

Hi alanwheeldon,
You don't have to buy a new hub, just screw a longer ball into the hub and save it with a nut.

I ended up running both of mine with longer bolt and a nut.
Until I got ally ones. |

I know it's a little after the horse has bolted, but I'd recommend putting short 3mm grub screws into the holes you are not using. this will strengthen up the hub link buy not allowing the hole wall to push into the next hole. I've raced mine for about 2 years and not had a single failure.

I did both, put grub screws in the not used ones or even short screws from the back if in a bind
I also had a longer stud with nut but found one of the best options was to use a alu spacer as well to spread the pressure. |

How would the car differ though if I used one of the other holes?
