Hi all
What are you thoughts on the question below Is the RB6 a head and shoulders better car than the RB5 with vega conversion? I have a vega, and I love it but starting to think about change, the rb6 is one expensive car! is it worth it as I'm not sure the people I have seen change from one to another have rely felt any benefit for the cost dont say vega the rb6...just not got that sort of money ![]()

yes the RB6 is expensive...but is it more expensive compared to an RB5 + Vega conversion kit? Don't think so. I have driven the stock RB5 and the Vega conversion. Of course the Vega drives better on pure Astroturf tracks, on dirt however... The RB6 should give the best of both worlds.
I have never driven the RB6 but at the moment I would choose the RB6 above any conversion kit...

Not knockin quality quite the opposite you'll not really loose any money if you try a used one and decide not to keep it

I currently run the rb6 gen3 vega. Having ran the rb6 for a few months and then converting it to the gen3 vega was a revelation. Very easy to drive, not too much front end like I found the rb6 but a great balance of sharp front end with ample rear end. If i were to recommend anything it would be to vega an rb6
