Maritime Racing Winter Indoor Championship Series for 2013 / 2014

Off Road Wars 2 Winter Championship Series

This championship will be held at the Maritime Racing permanent off road track.
We are happy to inform you that the team from TLR / Horizon Hobby UK will be sponsoring this event.

On top of the Championship dates the club will be open for practice the Saturday before 10am till 4pm at £5.
You may leave your race equipment overnight at YOUR OWN RISK. Please note also for your convenience that there will be Pit Tables, Power and Chairs supplied at the venue.
The counting system used for this event is AMB and Fabcount software.
The meetings will be run on ROUND BY ROUND (after listening to the driver).
The Championship will be best 4 of 5 to count. ( this can be amended)
The entry fee will be £8 first class. Secondry and third Class £6
All entry to be made on Central booking.
The trackside shop will be Colin Bliss Models.
Maritime Racing and TLR / Horizon Hobby UK are looking forward to running this championship for you the RC racer.

The aim for Off Road Wars Winter Championship is to give the racer a very professional and competitive championship to attend in the winter months.

Venue rules:
No Smoking in any part of the buildings in the dock yard.
Do not leave litter around the venue, bins are provided in the pit area area.
No third party food or drink permitted in the venue.
No playing outside the venue I.E. the car park, driveway or stairs etc.
Maritime Raceway and The Historic Dockyard accept no liability for loss or damage to personal property in the hall or on the club grounds.
Maritime Racing and The Historic Dockyard reserve the right to ask anyone to leave.

Wings:
A maximum of two (2) wings may be used. One for the front and one for the rear.
Minimum weight limit 2WD: 1.474 Kg
Minimum weight limit 4WD: 1.588 Kg
Trophies
Will be rewarded to the 10 Top Championship Finishers of each class
U16 Championship
To be eligible for U16 your 16th birthday cannot fall before the last round 16/03/14 (we must be infromed before you start your first meeting you are booked in to )

Q: Is booking in on central booking easy
A: Yes just go to www.centralbooking.org sign up and book in

Q: Can I book in to more than one Class
A: Yes (but you can only do one on centralbooking. Once you have booked in the first class then email
[email protected] and ask to be booked to a second class and follow the email that is sent o you )

Q: Can I book in with out central booking
A: Yes send a email to [email protected] and ask to be booked in
( Maritime Racing would like you to use central book due to the fact it is easier for the club and Ian Knight )

Q: Do we need tables, Chairs and Power
A: No all is supplied

Q: Is their practice the day before and what is the fee
A: Yes the fee is £5 Per driver, Opening times are 10am doors open, track shuts at 3.30pm and door close at 4pm

Q: How do I enter the U16 Championship
A: Once booked in on central booking please send a email [email protected] to inform us

Q: Is food and driver available
Y: Yes Maritime Munch 2 is at the venue ( No third party hot food or drinks can be consumed on site)

Q: Do I have to be a BRCA member
A: Yes ( as a new driver to the sport and stated in the BRCA rules you can visit and use the venue three time before joining )

Q: Is there going to be a Off Road War Two Day World Cup in 2013
A: Yes the date for this is 22nd / 23rd February 2014

Q: As with the Off Road Wars Two Day Championship will MR Shutty be there
A: YES he will it is part of the Maritime Racing experience

I assume I am in Heat 10 C6 as Andy Betts, so BATE and my frequency 775 and I will be using the PT already on your system 8193279 (although had hand out last Tuesday, so need to switch back to PT).
