Default DE Racing "Borrego" buggy wheels?

Are the above wheels any good... MB don't have any Durango yellow fronts in stock and JE spares seems to be down again.

Cheers.

It doesn't answer exactly your question, but as you're looking for wheel alternatives... For front wheels you can actually use pretty much anything as long as it involves using bearings in the wheel.

I use TRF rims on all four corners: On the front I needed 1.5mm shims on the outside of the wheel*, but they fit fine on the original axles otherwise. For the rear wheels, try to stick with 14mm Hex/1.6mm pin... I use TRF wheels on the rear of my DEX210 as well, and that required drilling out the axles for 2mm pins (the 1.6mm pins just had too much play on them to work).

*Worth noting here: With 1.5mm spacers on the outside, the TRF front wheels seem to result in the same width as Durango wheels. Put the spacers on the inside of the wheels and you get a car that exceeds 250mm, not to mention a bigger scrub radius.

Nice little four wheelers using these form almost 2 years ago, these wheels bring a touch of scale realism and style adopted from full scale pro buggy class race cars, and incorporate a simulated bead lock ring and foam mud plug to their design. i never face any problem with them at all .....
