Hey everyone.
I've recently purchased a B44, and am really pleased with its performance and handling. I'de like to fit some Trakpower 3200 saddle pack lipos, as I'm currently running Nimh cells. I've seen that Diggity Designs do a very neat fitting kit for lipos, but havent seen any others? Seeing as the company is presumably American, does anybody know if a) they have a distributor in the UK and/or b) are there any alternatives to fitting a lipo in a B44 without ghastly home-made modifications? Thanks in advance.

I thought that the lipo packs would move about from side to side, seeing as they would not be held in by the recess slots in the chassis which the nimh cells get held in by...?

What most people do where I race is have place a piece of ant-slip mat cut to size under the lipo and in between the lipo and the battery brace. Never seen one move yet.
You can also put some lead weight under the middle driveshaft which will balance the car out and stop the lipo coming too close to the shaft too. |

I'm running the trakpower ones in mine, they are quite tight and don't move about at all, i don't use any anti slip matting but I've not installed the plastic battery trays that came with the car. I am using the fibre lyte straps but only because they look better.
