Default What's the difference between a SP reventon pro esc & SP reventon pro v1.1 ?

Hi

I just wanted to what are the differences between a reventon pro esc (costing around £84) and reventon pro v1.1 ( costing around £135) ?

The only physical difference I can see is the v1.1 comes with a fan but that can not warrant £45+ price tag just for a fan.

I am just curious about this.

Also does the reventon pro run cooler then the SP gt.2?

Waz

The reventon pro has a fan too.
And the reventon does seem to run a little cooler than the gt2.0. I've only got a handful of runs on the reventon, so couldn't tell you by how much!

I've got the Reventon Pro, and another guy at my club has one also.

Nice throttle response, but I can't get mine to reverse (the lcd programmer won't change that option), I could flash it, but the other guy at my club has intermittent brakes, so I don't fancy taking that risk. (The motor I got bundled with mine also lasted just 2 races before the rotor detached).

Anyway, I'll be getting a 120amp hobbywing Xerun next, my 60a versions were awesome, but I needed more power for my 6.5 LRP motor, so got the 140 amp reventon as it seemed pretty cheap!
