Default Proud of the British Olympians

Is anyone else amazed of what our athletes are doing out in Beijing?

The velodrome action has literally taken my breath away on more than one occasion. Team sprint, indi pursuit and Keirin were amazing. And the Coxless four in rowing.... how amazing.

If you watch nothing else of the Olympics I think everyone should see these:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/olympics/7563322.stm - Team Sprint

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/olym...ng/7565423.stm - Keirin

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/olym...ng/7565176.stm - Coxless four

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/olym...ng/7565376.stm - Individual Pursuit

When you consider we are a nation of 60 million people that competes with nations such as China with a billion people, and the US, Brazil, Russia and Japan which have a population in hundreds of millions it's amazing what is done.

Anyone else enjoying the games? Or are most people fed up of it being on the TV all the time?

Got to agree with you fella, this is the first time i've watched the olympics properly and today has been the best for drama. The cycling was brilliant but you forgot Rebecca Adlington getting her 2nd gold and the world record for the 800 meter freestyle. And were 8th in the medals table
