Default XXX-CR spins out at full Brake

Hi everyone, This is my first thread.

So I have a Losi xxx-cr with a Duratrax evader st pro transmission in it, and when I hit the brakes it spins around to the left. Is it possible that the diff just needs loosening or tightening, or what? Any advice would be much appreciated. By the way it's a ball diff.

May i ask why you have that transmition in it? any way you proberly need to turn your brake down this is proberly why.

It's beefier and can handle a lot more abuse than the xxx. And I don't think that would help, I already have it set to use a "drag-brake". And it spins out in a circle.

What surface?
Are your shock lengths the same?
Is your car roughly balanced left to right?
Are your tires knackered on one side more than the other?

It's on loose gravl. yes. possibley not. no.

A 2wd buggy under "heavy" braking on loose surfaces will often do this, as already advised you need to check the suspension is equal from left to right and possibly turn down the brakes on either your transmitter (if you can) or speedo.

BTW, NO Duratrax transmission is as good as the one found as standard on any Losi XXX, my best advise is to put your Losi gearbox back in, it will be a lot better, especially if it is built and set up correctly.

Like everyone else has commented, turn down your brake end point adjustment (EPA) on the transmitter (if you can) as its probably set at 100% by default which will be way too much. I had exactly this problem last year and it took a while to find the brake EPA buried in a sub-menu on my Futaba radio. Good luck.
