Own the 44.2 and K1 and just wanted to complement them with. 2 wd, anybody recommend any.
I like the following Associated 4.2 Schumacher svr Inferno rb6 Durango 210 Yokomo I had a few questions , Why is that inferno so expensive, ? Would spares for the 44.2 work with the 4.2 ? Thanks. I see a few 4.1 on eBay maybe one of them but unsure yet |

Tobamory the cars you have listed are all great cars and have proved themselves at all levels. 99% of people are running mid motored cars now ! What are people running at the club you race at ?
Why not go for a car that can be converted with kit parts ![]() Nothing wrong with the other cars you have listed either but its up to yourself. I'm guessing here but you being in Leeds you are close to the respected MB models in Otley speak to them for more advise. Hth Steve

I'd say either the dex210 or yokomo.
Alternatively pick up a cheap B4.1 2nd hand and convert it to a vega 2nd gen. then you would be able to share certain parts with the 44.2 and still have a very good mid motor buggy |

MB Models, 194 Selby Road, Halton, Leeds, LS15 0LF. These lads actually race!!! Otley Modelsport's in Otley and they'd never heard of half of the makes that are current when I went when I started back the other year.

Hi Rob.... The Associated cars are as good as anything and have the proven pedigree.. Depends on what you want to spend but go for the B4.1 for cheap..the B4.2 for latest with all the upgrades or consider the C4.1 for mid motor (I think Paul from the Batley club is selling his C4.1on here ) some of the parts are the same as your B44.....

Got my eye on one on eBay,
I,ll see what I can obtain, is yours a 4.1 Al? Suppose 4.2 would have parts I could use on 44.2 in a fashion. K thanks The one I'm looking at is an rc10 b4 what years that or is that the same as a 4.1? |

Mine has been upgraded from B4 with all sorts...
What ever you look at, make sure it has threaded shocks and cvd driveshafts at least, better if it is full Factory Team version... |

I run the DEX210, but I have to say that the ones that look good tend to have the longer chassis (£35.00), the cab forward shell (£18.00), firmer rear springs (£4.00). So far as the diff is concerned if you want the ball diff to work carbon steel circlips (4.00) ceramic diff balls and thrust race (£20.00), or £25.00 for a gear diff).
So you actually have £270.00 to make this car go very well. If you are going for a conversion kit, you really ought to start with a new car, because you will inevitably replace a load of parts on a second hand car. In all honesty, unless you are racing at RHR dirt track, I wouldn't waste time on a dual mount car, go for the best mid mount car. The best looking cars I have seen running 'from the box' so to speak is the Kyosho RB6 - in the long term not a false economy. The Schumacher Cougar is well supported, and also looks very good 'out of the box'. I've only seen one Yokomo Bmax 2 and that was pretty impressive as well. Whatever you do, find out if parts are available trackside by whomever supports your local track. |

Losi TLR 22 got mid-motor conversion option just in the box. Reliable buggy and cheap to start.
