hope this helps

Default Futaba recievers

The FrSky TFR4 reciever works with the Futaba 3vc. I use these, they are a 4 channel reciever and are just a little longer than the spektrum sr3500. These are a lot smaller than original futaba recievers and are about £32 which is a third of the price.

They will work fine with a 4pk, also the 4pks if you select the correct mode on your transmitter. Your basically using the equivalent to a 603ff or fs model Futaba receiver.

I have 1 of these, second time out 2 min into a race my car took off at full speed down straight. Hit a wall, hit a marshall and then hit another wall. It was still trying to go too. Some1 managed to grab it.

I don't use it anymore

It had glitched a couple other times earlier in the night, turning car on and off sorted it, but that was the last straw for me.
