Default chasis dirt cover

Anyone know if the 22 SCT chassis dirt cover will fit a 22 or 22t ?

Cheers

It could possibly be made to fit by installing from the rear of chassis first and with some careful trimming...

but these are also available ready to fit and have the relative model logo design on too:

Are those for protecting the underside of the chassis? I was hoping to butcher/mod the tray that sits under the shell but on top of the chassis (protecting the electrics) on the 22sct ??

Not sure the above very clear?? Doh

I get you, i think!

The 22 standard kit body will fit the 22T as a dirt cover and obviously a 22 Buggy as a bodyshell,

a 22SCT lexan dirt cover will definitely be too long to fit 22 or 22T, where it looks similar in design to other models in range it is approx 40mm longer with different motor guard etc so lipos are in a different position so side pods won't match.

Imagine being able to fit a full stick pack lipo lengthwise in a mid motor 22 buggy with electrics in standard position and you are about there for size difference!

I can see the need for a 22T underbody (although the shaped underbody flaps work well if they haven't been cut off)

can't quite understand why you need an underbody on a 22 Buggy?

Yeah agreed with the buggy. Its a bit over kill. However my truck does have a Hobbit of collecting half the track after a single race. Shame it couldn't be modified to fit the 22T chases

A standard 22 buggy body can be used as a dirt cover on a 22T and fitted using velcro on the sidepods.

I test fitted my 22T with an old spare 22 buggy body when first built and it dropped straight on, just never got used outdoors!

So if you are clever with trimming you can have an underbody for your 22T and a spare body for your 22 Buggy for one price and without the hassle of cutting up/bodging another product to fit
