Whatever you buy mate i found a low profile servo fits in the car a whole lot better than a standard size one ;-)

Futaba BLS551 is perfect, might be struggling to meet your budget tho' , perhaps keep an eye on ebay.

100% agree with the low profile servo being the best for the Lazer, only way to get a straight link from servo to bellcranks.
The Futaba BLS551 is what I have in mine but the current Orion low profile servo seems very good and is a fair bit cheaper than the Futaba |
