Default Serious thread about the Yokomo B-MAX4

Here is Yokomos own product page (in Japanese) - http://www.teamyokomo.com/jpn/produc...x4/b_max4.html

Here are a couple of pics

And here are the most interesting ones

Not only have Yokomo made a plastic chassis and reused what looks like parts of the SD touring drivetrain, they have also made NEW suspension parts.

If this was just a cheapy then they would have tried to keep as many BX parts on it as possible - but they haven't - expect a race-developed version of this car soon!

Very interesting!

If they can do them for £100 like the old MR-4BC was they would be great. If the price is closer to the £170 mark someone else has mentioned I think the car will die on its arse in the UK, a B44 is widely available for only £50 more and has full alloy and carbon.

It certainly does look very capable and a little better spec than the Durga. If they price it competitively I think it could become popular.
It seems some thought has gone into the various bits on the car.
Let's hope it holds up.

Does it have a slipper as part of the kit? Also, the kit doesn't seem to be widely available yet or am I just looking in the wrong places?

Hy Spoolio

Yes, the kit have a slipper. And you can adjust it from outside. It works very well!

I have the kit on stock...

Hi Adi,

Will you be stocking spares as and when they are available?
