Hi all,
Does anyone know what the cause could be to why my servo, when centering itself, judders like mad for a few seconds? (when i say judder, i mean 'flickers from left to right really fast'). I'm not sure i'd be able to tell on the track that this is happening, but it's beginning to freak me out a bit, and it can't be good for the servo itself ![]() cheers all, Stanners |

What servo and what radio are you using?
Could be you're using an analogue servo and a digital transmission mode, which will kill the servo in the long run. |

A digital servo can 'hunt' for neutral if there is any slack at all in the gears. Try some thick grease on the gears, that should sort it

It's a KO2343 servo, 6v, and a KO Helios Radio (although it's done it for every radio i've had).
Interesting point that Northy, I have been told before that it could be the servo motor that could be goosed? I'd get a new one, but i'm a tight ass ![]() |
