Where Does Your oOple-Name/Nickname Come From ?

Theres a few random names on here, some are funny, some are odd, some are normal... Intrigued to see where some of the more unusual ones came about
I'll kick off with mine 'smokin' pretty much tongue in cheek because when i used to race in the good old days my cars were always a bit slow.. hence i was not err smokin round, my dads was probably funnier- smokin henry haha
In various other circles i'm known as Quazi after a farmer who just sits under a palm tree all day drinking palm wine (which is supposedly what i do), and also Smee (from red dwarf) sssmmmmmeeeeeeg heeeeeeaaaaad

Mines pretty obvious because of my name, but a friend at work used to be a big 'only fools and horses' fan, and so nicknamed me after 'Del boy', and it's stuck since.


used to be called Tez at school, but that went away when we left.

Mine is because it's sort of my name. Actually I'm called James I think, but I don't like that anymore because it doesn't fit my 'crazy' image. I did consider changing my last name to oOple but I've not had the balls for it yet.

I think if shane is committed enough to get a tattoo then you should at least change your surname to oOple.

My name is lee because thats what my mum calls me I dont want to confuse things.

Im Millzy as no one calls me chris- infact i dont answer that much if im called chris

Just the normal school yard nickname Y added to my nickname and then the S got changer to a Z at some point in the 90s

i didnt do shanes but are you committed enough lee i can do you a "piespeed" or "fister" tattoo .
my oople name came from another forum i was on and thought i would just keep it the same but it is rather boring and someone already had "NeilD" on here
