Default Winter Open

Cheers Rob, Al and the Westcountry Resorts chaps for another great race meet! Best track yet! Next time can we have some flaming oil drums, aka tramp heaters, to keep me warm

Just like to say a big thank you to Yatton, all its sponsors and all those that helped out, what a great meeting, the track was ace (I preferred it to the last one), free tea and coffee what more could you ask for

Special thanks to Rob for letting me run his car all day (bloody sales men will do any thing for a sale)

Thanks for the kind words and it was a great days racing. I would also like to say a few thank you's........

Rich Law - Thanks for sponsoring this event and the Winter Warm Up and thanks for putting up such a great prize. We will try and get a saucepan or two in next time

Dan Harding - Thanks for all the help and work in getting all the electrics sorted and a big thank you for not breaking Rob's car

John Howe - Thanks for the great photo's and the advice on the day for my own camera work (photos will be up soon)

Mark & Paul Field - Thanks for the help with the track layout and also setting the track out. I think everyone thought it was the best layout yet

And finally a big thanks to Rob for running race control and making sure the day ran smoothly, it's not an easy job running a race meeting and he did it like a pro

Default Fantastic days racing!

Well organised, free tea & coffee plus lots of banter in the pits!
Well done Rob & Alan, you did the club proud! The track was great, think Paul & Mark Field spent quite a lot of their free time in creating this...thanks lads! Not forgetting John for taking pictures all through the day again! Rob can you order some super strong wishbones in please, the carbon Ae versions cant withstand my crashes!

Oh yeah & please get more creative on the loozers short course trophy, its my second wooden spoon in 2 months!

Ditto on all the above but i had an advantage if i wanted as i had a heater in boot of my car but didnt need it as it was quite warm in the upstairs pits from all the hot air down below Day was awesome and well done Rob and all involved and yes i thought it was the best track yet as well, nice and flowing and no double jump. Looking forward to John and Alan`s piccies.
