Default Next years nationals

Hi all,

After a long time away from off road i will be returning over the winter, now as i have been racing touring cars at nationals (F2 std) i imagine i would be an F5 in the off road class, i also understand that F5`s cannot enter the nationals and the regionals over the winter do not count towards gradings.

Correct me if i am wrong please as i really want to race in the nationals next year

there is nothing stopping you entering, its just preferace is given to drivers doing all meetings, and then preferance to the higher graded drivers, not sure which order that works in though.

F5's can indeed race in nationals - the problem is that preference is given to high graded drivers - and also drivers that have signed up for the minimum qualifying number of rounds (4) I beleive.

My wife is an F5, she got into EVERY national this year - though some she was on the reserve list for until near the time. I am F4 next year- so I might not be assured a place even since the numbers of entrys seem to be going up and up.
Best advice, if you want to race, get your entry in as soon as possible, you cant do anything about F1 / F2 / F3 drivers etc taking places from you, but you can get in there before any other F5's and have a good chance of getting in.

Hi guys if you haven’t done any regional rounds in off road 2wd or 4wd this year you could gain a higher licence grade by attending the Tiverton winter championship as they have there regional licence grades seeded from this championship as wel as there normal winter championship

have a look on the onetenthoffroad web site for the full entry list that you can down load details about the championship and its best if you speak to Jackie rowcliff whos details will be on the brca page and see if you can enter as part of there regional championship

How does that work if the grades are already awarded for next year ? wouldnt that mean someone can get a bad grade for next year (in their own region)- not be happy with it so then go to tiverton to try and get a better one ??

no jim, you can only points score in 1 region per year, i think tiverton use the first 2 or possibly 3 meetings to sort out there grades for 2007
