Default Rat/monkey V pro kits

Hi
What's the differences between the monkey/rat kits and the pro versions? To me it seems ali shocks, turnbuckles and bearings. Am I missing anything? X2 pro looks good value from modelsport but could go for a monkey plus bearing kit plus some old option house shocks I have. I've a mixture of back garden bashing and astro in mind.

Thanks

Richard

Hi,

The monkey and rat is a perfect basher which can also be used for racing. The pro's have a couple upgrades but mainly the plastic is upgraded making it stronger (carbon composite) I don't think ther much better than the standard i my opinion. But the bit i don't get is you can only seem to get the standard nylon parts if you you break the upgraded, (which is possible) from model shops anyway.

So if you are bashing get the monkey or the rat definetly, there great cars.

Steven

The X2 Pro, as you say have the alloy threaded shocks, turnbuckles, bearings & a clear shell. It is indeed a steal at £69 IMO.

The 'Pro version' of the Monkey would be the x2c, this is a saddle pack chassis whereas the Monkey is a stick pack chassis.

I'd get the X2 Pro if I were you, descent shocks with available rebuild parts, in the form of the new Team C equivalents.
