Default TC02C advice

Hey guys Im looking to get a Tc2c soon and was wondering if i could get a little advice off you all.
could you tell me:
1. what parts to make it BRCA legal
2. what are the common breakages so I know what spares to stock
3. What tyres would you suggest to start with (currently on carpet but will be racing on oswestry's out door track normally)

Thanks
Gareth

1. You need to make the front narrower to make it BRCA legal, i found kyosho rb5 axles an easy way to do this, you need UM569 plus two 7 x 5 x 1mm spacers, these give you more than enough track width adjustment to make it legal.

2. Wishbones, F + R shocktowers, some front kick up plates plus upperdecks would be the main things to carry.

3. Best to check with the locals but yellow minispikes and low profile staggers are a good starting point.

You just need to dremmel about 3mm off each axle, no parts needed

C hubs are a good thing to have as spares, or get ally ones and just fit and forget

Have you tried it in a BRCA width box? Mine is 4mm narrower at the front and only just fits with low profile staggers.

See a few people break the both the front and rear hubs where the ball stud fits so probably not a bad idea to have some spare.

Fair enough, I was told you had to naorrow the hexs down as well.
I fitted the rb5 axles as i had a set to try and it allows you to change the track width easily

I have HPI Blitz front hubs on mine complete. They fit straight on and make your car 10mm narrower overall.

I'm trying to find 7 x 5 x 1mm spacers, where did you find them? (I've been googling for 30 mins without success...)

Please help!

You can use either Kyosho W0149GM, this also includes two more of the 7 x 5 x 2mm spaces that come with the axles or Team durango TD310032 (i used these as I allready had them) I'm sure there are others as well.

I was under the impression that cutting the excess thread from the front axles is enough. Is that correct ?
