Default TC02C - What bits are worth buying?

Hi guys and gals,

Just bought a TC02C for next year's club racing (and maybe a few regionals) - what bits (gearbox parts, chassis parts, shock towers, steering, etc) based on your experiences with the car, would you recommend? I'm looking for parts that either deal with a known issue, or that measurably improve performance.

I've been racing for a lot of years, so just need the lowdown on this particular car in terms of what to look out for, what to get, etc...

my x2c is stock but spares wise

front kick is a defo!
front bulk head!
rear shock tower!

We have loads of team c at our club as they are a great and very strong car, and I drive one for SMD, it's the best car I've had bar none.

The ally c hubs are a must, the plastic ones break easily. Anything else ally wise is nice to have but not essential.

Plastics wise the only bits I've seen break are front wishbones, and that was after the mother of all crashes. Some people say the plastics on ansmann and team c are the same, well they aren't and the team c cars don't break the front chassis or rear t piece at anywhere near the same rate as ansmann.

Sorry forgot to say carbide diff balls will be needed as the kit ones are a bit soft. The thrust race is ok, just keep it well lubed with a good quality moli grease (not silicone like it says in the instructions)

All you need IMO...

Ally rear hubs, ceramic diff balls and upgraded idler gears... IMO they're the most important bits, drove for ansmann for a year and a bit, great cars!!

Idler gears in the team c are fine as standard, they are the updated ones already, we've been running the kit ones for months with not a single breakage
