Default will I get away with it?

i've just bought a speed passion 6.5 motor, and installed it in my B44.

i'm running a 19t pinion and stock spur, as recommended in the b44 manual. i've spent quite a while making sure the drivetrain is ultra-sweet

i'll be running the trakpower 3200 saddle packs, as this is all I have at the mo..... is anyone else running this combo?

will I get away with it, duration wise?

with the 10.5, I was only using 900ma in a 5 min race.....

You'll do 15 minutes easy, and it'll be pretty brisk

If anything I'd say you were a couple of teeth undergeared

really? with 3200s?

i'll be happy if it does 5 mins!

I know it will be interesting. the hottest motor I ever ran was the 'dynatech super touring' 13 double in the tamiya eurocup.

just revving the 6.5 in the car (with the pinion off) was impressive. there's power there.

Last weekend i was running a 5.5L with 3200 Trakpower saddles in my Atomized B44, lasted the 7 minute final and was only 85% charged. So you should be ok for 5 minutes.

15 minutes i am not so sure of, but you could gear up a little.

why doesn't it say that in the instructions!

I can see your point though. it was a little warm to the touch. do BL motors not like revving freely?

it should say it in the instructions (it does in mine) but even if it doesn't don't risk it.
