Default Solder

I'm wanting to replace the wires on my Novak speedo but what type of solder is used from factory as my soldering iron won't seem to melt it?

Hi chap !

I bought a Weller W100D Soldering Iron 20 years ago !
It's a 240v 100w iron with a 7mm flat tip on it !

It takes approx 3-4 secs to melt the solder on any ESC I've tried to re-wired !!

I think your issue is the tip is to small !!
You may be able to get a replacement tip which is more suitable !
