Hello, how do you clean up your brushless motors? What sprays do you use? If I use brake cleaner as the one used for cleaning the tires for touring rubber, would this be fine? Any special cleaner for the rotors?

If you wanna 'play it safe', I suggest using an 'air duster' (can of air) blast the dust out.
I suggest you read the instructions/recommendations; I'm sure with my old Novak SuperSport system they said to avoid the use of motor sprays, maybe things have changed. |

It does say in the Novak instructions NOT to use motor spray. Not sure why but I adhere to this instruction with ours.
Saying that it was a bonded rotor, the sintered rotor version was bought from a fellow racer and did not have instructions, so it may depend upon the rotor ? |
