Default Lazer Zx-5 Front Brace / Knuckle

Hi

Does part LA210, Front Bulkhead, contain the standard front brace for the Lazer ZX-5? Looks like it does, but not easy to tell from the photos?

Also, is the standard knuckle and hub carrier 4,7, or 10 degrees? Part no LA219?

No prizes for guessing what i did over the bank holiday weekend

Thx

Ted

not sure on the front brace question, will have to look it up.

But the kit standard hub was 7 deg. All the main drivers ran 10 deg though so i'd get a few pairs of those.

The stock ZX-5 contains the standard moulded composite brace, the SP has the aluminum one. If you have the plastic one you need to get LAW31 which is the aluminum upgrade part.

I would agree, LAW31 is worth it's weight in gold as it makes the front end near bullet proof!

Ok thanks, i'll have a look - would be worried the brace would stay intact and I'd snap a wishbone instead, but I guess not!

You will still snap wishbones, and hubs but the brace helps keeps the bulkhead together.

Knuckle & hub carriers, part numbers are 219-4, 219-7, 219-10 7 being stock and 10 deg being what most run as Jim has said. We find we lose a few lower king pins when the hubs go - worth having spare.
