I'm contemplating purchasing a Rudebits chassis for my C4.1. Has anyone got one of these and what benefits does it have?
Thanks Dave

Is that it? My chassis hasn't bent yet.
No performance benefits?

I waited for other to reply to you rather than this sounding like an advert.
The chassis gives more steering as well as more side bite. It is natural for this to happen with a Carbon Chassis. I have also been told the chassis also rides the bumps nicely. Ed Kerry just won the 2012 F3/4/5s and the F2s using this chassis.

Thanks Tony. I was at both events that Ed won. Very impressive.
Just wanted to know if it was worth it. Will probably give it a try. Thanks again Dave

Just the plain one. Not convinced with the weights. Was hoping someone who actually used it would be able to shed some light on handling benefits. Regards Dave

I have the carbon chassis fitted on my C4.1 and one major benefit is the steering having driven others with just the alloy one on.
It also gives a little bit more room as the carbon braces are not needed and the weights are easily added/removed for different tracks. As tony says above aswell, it takes the jumps better to. This is only my opinion and I am no master, but can clearly feel the difference. Paul

hi , as was mentioned ed won both these meetings, he had not raced the car before the F2`s . ed has the chassis with the weights in as does change the under servo weight alot to tune in or out the steering, also as tony said they do go over the bumps very well
