spurs and pinions

wander if anyone can help

im looking for a pinion for my 410 and i dont know if to go for a steel pinion or an alloy pinion

i have the plastic spur fitted, will the steel pinion chew up the spur? if so where can i find an alloy 26 tooth pinion?

Steel or alloy will both be fine, steel will last longer so probably the best choice.

Just make sure you mesh the gears properly - so there's a small amount of play between the gears.
