My motor sensor wire is too short.
Am I ok to cut it and solder in extensions as I've been told that I can't do that. If not, where is the best place to get the connectors so I can make a new one? I've got a speed passion motor and esc if that makes any difference. Thanks Wingers |

Just buy a longer sensor wire.

one of those things that is not worth doing yourself. There are plenty of high-grade silicone cables available like these...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Answer-RC-...-/261002325571 By the time you have bought the connectors, the proper wire, the crimper and taken several attempts to make a good one, it will cost you more than a new cable. Don't solder the wires into the pins as this will be a failure point due to cracking of the wires where the solid bit full of solder meets the flexible bit of the wire. HTH ![]() |

I've got 10 connectors on the way now for £3.50 so will give that a go.
I should be able to get the length spot on that way but if it doesn't go well then your link seems to be the best Ebay option. Thanks Wingers |
