I should be buying the chassis next month and ordering the electrics the month after. Question though about the servo. Coming from TC I've been using a stubby savox, but not sure which most use in a buggy. Is it better to get a stubby so there is room to add weight or go full size from the off? This is for the DEX210 platform (forgot to add that)
Any help is appreciated |

Which car are you getting? If it's the 410, it doesn't really matter if you go big or small as it doesn't reall effect the amount of space inside, and you probably won't be needing to add weight up front, there is enough there already. Other thing is, is the servo meaty enough, I had a stubby Savox in my Losi 22 and didn't think it was quick enough for 2wd, let alone 4wd.

Go low profile, you then have the option of running the lipo forward up against the servo as per Hupos 210, worked well on my one running indoors

I have the hitec 7775MG and have tried the savöx 1251 both work really well and can recommend both.
Take note that if you just have the battery against the servo and not screw down the battery holder enough there is a risk that on a heavy nose dive the force can crack and break the servo lugs. I have added some (what I had lying about) window/door jam/frame sealer that has double sided tape on one side and rubbery under my battery strap to help hold it in place. |

eh? a savox 1251 is more than fast enough for a 2wd the 1258 that I have in my 210 I'd say is maybe a bit too much for a 2wd so much so that I'm considering going down to the 1251. |

In fact I've tried a few Savox servos now, never found one I liked very much, always found my KO much better.
