Default Wheelbase and thrust bearing

Hi all got a few questions

1. What effect on my xx4 if i change the wheelbase ive alwasy run it medium will it make any diffrence i know about 2wd but the motor is hanging out the back.

2. I bought Molded Diff Thrust Bearing LOSA 3098 and ive recieved it and the washers havent got any grooves in them there like normal washers. pictured below Can i still use this in my xx4/cr diff????

changing the wheelbase has the same effect on any car weather it be 2wd drive or not Ash , and thrust washers i use have never had grooves in them , the same as diff washers dont..

shorter wheelbase makes the car feel very nimble and good on tight turns , very good on small tight tracks, without big jumps or bumps

longer wheelbase makes the car more stable and better in wide high speed turns , soaks up the bumps better .

Ash, those thrust washers are not for the CR diff. The part no. for the thrust washers for the CR diff is

A3018 ............. JRX-S H.D THURST BEARING SET

..which do have grooved washers

I don't know if you can actually run the old style in the CR diff though mate, Mr Preddy might though.....
