Default Southern Micro Championship

For all micro/mini racers in the south, DMCRC (Dorset) has deciding to do a winter championship along side their usual on-road heats. The club races on a Friday night @ Carter Community College in Poole. Details will follow as well as rules etc but if you are interested please register on the dmcrc.proboards.com forum.

Will someone be building some jumps/obstacles like the indoor off-road tracks in the Midlands? A few wooden jumps could easily be installed/removed between the usual on-road heats.

Also it would be fun to have a 1/10th indoor off-road class, what are the chances of this?

We did look at 1/10 indoor, but little tight so as their aren't many micro clubs in the south thats why we chose to run this. Their will be some jumps and most likely a bot dot area too so won't be completly flat.

Do you guys have a KV limit on the motors?? Thinking we may include one so drivers who buy a new car don't have to go out and also buy a motor to be able to compete.

All the micro ie carisma, losi use 4500kv which comes with the car
The rest is done with the gear ratios, unless your a carisma team driver they use
6500kv Tbh 4500 kv is plenty fast enough just gear it up especially when carisma won last years micro nationals
With the losi mini catching up very fast even with the 4500kv standard motor in the kit
We run a micro and 1/10 th scale club with not much room but tbh
You dont need much room for the micros unless your your running to brca regs which would mean you need 20 mt back straight
If we were not so far away some of us guys would be interested
