Default Experience with the B44?

Hello,

I want to buy a B44 but I'm not sure if I should buy it.

Who can tell me his experiences with the B44?

-Durability
-Maintenance
-Handling
-Buildup
-Cheap where? USA Shop
-etc....

Thx for your answers.

Best Regards

Mathieu

Hi there,
I've owned one since the start of this year and so far its been fantastic no parts have shown any sign of wear yet, all that needs doing every so often is doing the usual checks that nothing has come loose, the only weak part on the car now i'd say is the front shock shafts and front A arms which is a weakness on other cars too as they are first thing to make contact in most crashes, the build is really good it's simple and easy to understand, the handling of the car is very good it's predictable and quick, one upgrade i would buy for it is a front oneway diff which makes it even better in most peoples opinion. A good cheap usa shop to buy from would be losi parts house: http://www.losipartshouse.com/servlet/the-26851/ASC9060-Factory-Team-B44/Detail
Hope this helps
Mike.

Ah yes, LosiPartsHouse is a well known shop.

So the only replacementpart I should buy is the front Arms and Shock shaft?
Maybe you know the Partnumber of the Shock Shafts?

Thx for your experiences.

Best Regards

Mathieu

some people have changed to the older associated shock shafts up front or losi shock front shafts as they are slightly stronger, not sure what else breaks really i havn't broken any other part yet apart from the old style topdecks which have now been strengthened and havn't heard of the new topdecks break

Hi,

ok Thx.

Yes I heart about the problem with the Top-deck.
So if I buy a B44 now, the Top-Deck will be the new, stronger Top-Deck?

Best Regards
Mathieu

I raced mine last night. Didnt do too hot though.

A T4 slammed my front end cracking my front shock tower.

Also after 7 months of running this car my diff case on the rear end
is also cracked.

And another common problem, the washer mod does work, but the
nut on the left side comes loose all the friggin time.

I ended up stripping 2 sets of rear rims..I'll post pics later..

It has to be the rear pin that caused this much carnage..

Is the wesinator as good as you B44&501xRacerEX?
I don't get how you have broken all those parts

I have seen lots of b44s take beatings and they seem pretty strong, apart from those shock shafts

Stuff just gets old....I had way too many bad landings with it.

And that T4 hitting me he broke after he hit me, you get what you get.
I'm not a bad driver, it's just being on the track with really terrible drivers
that bother's me. You dont just plow into someone's R/C car..

I'll just go buy new parts later on I have another car to run anyhow...
