Default Pred white wheels

Well i have just been trying to take some tyres off of a pair of wheels as i was going to use the tyres for my B4, anyway i was using nail varnish remover, as like acetone it dissolves glue. Anyway i have just had a check on them and it looks like it it is making the wheels fall apart in the sense that i can take out a huge gougue with my finger nail and if i rub quite har on the surface. Is this normal for Pred wheels as this has never happened for any other wheel i have tried taking the glue off. Just means that i will be neading to buy Pred wheels a lot more often compared to B4 wheels.

for some reason the old pred wheels do seem to be made of a poor material ,ive seen a few crack from a little impact that any other wheel would be fine from, the new x11 ones are alot better from what ive seen.

the old x11 white wheels were fragile and cracked easily, most probably they had small cracks which the nail varnish remover has just made bigger.. as said... get some orange ones! much more substantial!

I don't think it's that the plastic is weak, it's because it's brittle that they break on hard impact. The reason why they do this in your Acetone is because of the material they are made out of reacts with it, if you left them long enough they wud dissolve
