Bullistorm 120a Firmware update

Hi,

has anyone managed to successfully update the firmware on a Bullistorm 120a to the HW version? Mine wont talk to my pro lcd prog box

have you loaded latest v3 firmware by mistake ?

if you check you need 0405012 (or something similiar not v3 reflash your lcd programmer all will be fine

I did update the box firmware to the latest but defo not got the V3 on there as the lcd seems to be working fine with my 120a HW 1S and V2.1

Are they the hot pink ones you have managed to successfully do so far?

This is a black one which I think is possibly the newer version - although I could be wrong on that?? Maybe they have changed something meaning it is no longer HW compatible, which makes me a bit less hopeful of it's chances for survival if I don't know what firmware is on there, bah!

On the upside the fan is really quiet and was even connected the right way out of the box!

Hi guys, same for us, I bought one of those Bullstorms for my 6 yr old after reading that it should be possible to upgrade it to HW firmware. The one we got is pink, has the label for the fan corrected (so correctly wired up from the box).
It will NOT talk to my HW lcd prog box. I tried a recipe to revert the box to and old firmware, but the box and speedo will not talk to each other.
Any further tips would be highly appreciated, our Bullistorm seem to loose sensored mode after 1 touch of full throttle. We have tried to replace the sensor wire and we have also tried with different motors. Always the same.

both mine are the pink ones with fan connections wired reverse

not seen a black one yet im at a bit of a loss for help

as for dropping into sensorless mode ive not had a faulty esc only motors or sensor cables
