Default Jorn Neumann takes 2012 4WD Euros

Jorn Neumann put in a perfect score during the weather-affected qualifying at this years EFRA 10th off road 4WD euros. Come the finals Jorn took the opening two legs in a convincing style to take the overall victory - sitting out the third leg as is required to allow the other drivers to battle for the remaining podium spots. Neil Cragg took the third leg but it wasn't enough to take a place on the podium as he had nothing to back it up. Hupo Honigl finished second overall to make it a Team Durango 1-2, with TLR man Darren Bloomfield coming in third overall.

Congratulations to the winners and thanks to EFRA for the use of the photo. Check out their coverage here: EFRA.WS

Default Darren Bloomfield - 3rd place - TL XX-4 2012

I'd appreciate a statement of TLR on the podium place for the 15 (fifteen) year old XX-4 they stopped selling years ago.

It shows that the old cars are just as quick as the new cars. Good going Darren.

When I've spoken to the TLR guys at the Worlds or EOS races there seems to be a bit of a lack of enthusiasm for a new 4WD as it's a small class in the USA. Maybe they're bluffing and will come out with a XX4.1 from nowhere?

They did do a quick jobof a proto based on a touring car some time ago (got sent some pics) and they didnt have time to set it up yet made the worlds B final so a bit disapointed that the didnt release it as it wasa good design.
