Default B44.1 vs cat sx3 vs dex410

Chaps and chapettes

Looking at getting one of these to go racing. I am a reasonable club (A or b final) driver. Planning on switching from 1/8 nitro to 1/10 electric so I can race with my little boy.

I am leaning towards a b44, but would be great to know what the pros and cons are of each.

Thanks in advance.

I run a 44.1 and my son 7 is running a b44 very competitive cars very easy to work on and parts are cheap they handle well out of the box... however it all depends on what your racing on a dex 410 from what i have seen are a lot quicker on high grip tracks and are very strong. we have found especially with the young one the front wishbones are a bit weak on the b44s but thats all we have had problems wise with them.

Default 1/10th's

I used to race 1/8 nitro rally cross and switched to 1/10th off road last year. I run a second hand B44.1 and have never had to do any work on it and pick up low A and high B finals in the East of England regionals. The only thing I have broken is the front bumper, the car handles well although not sure 100% on the shocks. I am thinking of switching to a Durango as I really like the build quality and like the idea of the geared diffs over the ball diffs. I know the Durango out numbers the B44's when looking around the pits too.

That's very true in the EoE, there were 16 maybe 17 Durangos out of 24 cars at the Boughton regional this weekend.

My local club at Ipswich is almost a Durango one make series now

Durango all the way, wouldn't swap mine for anything.

pros, fast, strong, really, really strong, and handles well.

cons, none I've found in over 2 1/2 years.
