Polished wood track

what do you guys race on polished wood?

what do you think is the best car and setup ?

i have found that with a near standard Tamiya TA-05 with a tamiya sport tuned 'black can' and schumacher yellow minipin tyres goes well, with the suspension screwed right up (so it is basically sitting on the floor)

Tamiya 415 MSX MRE, stock 27T, Yellow 21mm Schumacher minipin, Shumacher white inserts, yellow dot springs all round, 5mm rear 4mm front ride heights, front ARB, 30 WT Losi oil all round.

Those are the main settings

It was close at the top this week !

415 ??

i would have thought that it would have been too light on polished wood ... slide :P

but if you are only running a 27T fair do's.

i had a 19x1 in my '05, changed it to a 27t and it was much better

I used to love running on the polished floor at Swindon, with Tamiya Silver Can motors and yellow minipins, the racing was close!

No, not too light. The guys mainly run XRay T007/08 but there are 3 x 415 MRE`s, a 416, several Serpent S400`s and an old HPI that are all on a similar pace making up the top 12 with drivers all of a similar ability. There are some quick guys at our club so the competition is always fierce

My old mi2 was brilliant on slippery floor. My RCLab was good too.
I miss not running on on the slippy stuff now we have lots of carpet
