I've used it for about 2-3 years now. At first I was wary of it but now wish I'd done it earlier. I can pay off my visa from home instead of driving to the bank wasting time and fuel and standing in queues.
You can transfer money between accounts in seconds and keep up to date with your balance. Go to the natwest site fist and download ther TRUSTEER RAPPORT. It encrypts your passwords to your account on any bank or site you add to it. Halifax give you £5 a month just for paying in £1000 a month you can then open a web reward saver account transfer the money into that and get 2.8% interest on it so you get paid twice for the same cash.

Got no choice here, pretty much all banking is internet based. To the degree that going to the bank is even more of a pain in the ar$e than it is in the UK.
We do the mortgage, loans, current accounts, savings accounts, credit cards, store cards (for the supermarket), tax rebates, car tax, insurance...... all through various bits of the banking system. Only issues i've had in the last 6 years are forgetting my access code, forgetting the code card thingy pin number, the battery in the code card went flat and some incompetent mail order company were storing card and account details in plain text. Last one wasn't such a big deal as the first i knew about it was when i got a new card and a letter explaining what had happened, someone had done some unauthorized spending, the bank had flagged it and sent me a new card, job done. UK mail order company FWIW. Costs me about 3 pounds a month for all the internet services. |

I use Barclays and no problems there. I have setup rules to save money into an ISA or savings account automatically every month.
They don't have a mobile app yet though which is a little annoying and you now have to carry the PINsentry round with you if you want to log in. Previously you could bypass the PINsentry with a password and could use the site without some of the money transfer features. |

Ive used barclays online for many years. Not long after it was introduced i got scammed (totally unsure how) and had some accounts cleared out. £5000 was taken from me. Barclays covered this and paid the money back into my accounts after their fraud team had looked into it to make sure i hadnt done anything wrong (dont know what research they did but took them about a week)
I was understandably put off for a while but since they have introduced pinsentry, and have a few more years experience with online security, i am confident my money is safe. |
