BRCC - The WoodYard

Gang,

Some of you may or may not be aware, but the Basingstoke club have been setting up a new outdoor 1/10 track.
It has generated some interest from the local RC community and having been operational for a few weeks, we had really started to enjoy it.

However ... I'm afraid now the bad news... today we've suffered a bit of a set back in that somehow our rosturm has be severely damaged by fire whilst no-one was at the track.

Not sure if it is malicous or just kids having a smoke whilst no-one was at the track, but suffice we've got some work to do.

It's a real blow for the gang who spent the time and effort to get the track to where it was!

We already have ideas on how to rebuild and even extend the track!

We will rise from the ashes...

Any ideas or offers of assistance, please feel free to let me and I'll be more than happy to pass them on to the committee.

Silverstone RCMCC have a purpose built rostrum on top of a lorry container. We have now moved venues and no longer need it, we are looking for around £500 for the lot. You can see pics of it on oople or i can post some.
I understand you may not want to spend but it will give you a race control and somewhere to store things, and also a bit more vandalism protection.
